They just want peace...
Published on August 3, 2006 By ShadowWar In Current Events

Muslims have stated that England will be the first country they take over!

These are pictures not shown on American TV or in American Newspapers (as they might help Bush's war on terror), but were forwarded by a Canadian Friend who thought Americans ought to know!

These pictures are of Muslims marching through the streets of London during their recent
"Religion of Peace Demonstration."

Why would anyone think

that we should be at war

with such nice, peaceful Moslems?

I was watching television the other night, and there was an advertisment for a tv programme that will be on next week.  It showed a Muslim man, that could be just an average bloke you see walking down the street.  He was born in England.  Yet it said...and I can't really remember the wording correctly, but that he thought all English women were immoral, English men were drunks, and we needed to be taken over.  Then it said, isn't it time we learnt what these people really think?  I shall be watching that programme.

They should join the peace movement.  They would fit right in.

Islam the religion of peice... as in a peice of you land, a peice of your body.

Nice folks. Such wonderfully peaceful sentiments on those signs eh?
on Aug 03, 2006
I got this in an email from a friend recently. I can't help but wonder how anyone sympathizes with such hateful, vicious, bloodthirsty types.
on Aug 03, 2006
Oh, they are such nice boys & girls. Yep, just your average peace lover.
Maybe they'll invite Cindy Sheehan over for tea.

Are you sure those aren't photoshopped? If not most of those signs are the work of a single person. Look at the letters - the shape of the Es is consistent with every single example. That's quite rare even with block letters.

I'm not saying there aren't people who think like that in England or even that there aren't a lot of people who think like that. It's just more convincing as a picture-based argument when there's a little more variety. At the moment the typed text is the only one that's made of out a different material and has different handwriting.

Ignoring the trivialities though it's pretty worrying. That movement needs to be subverted and quickly.

Well, it really wouldn't be unusual for a planned demonstration to be prepared by a small group of people. Perhaps only one or two were actually involved with making the signs.

Or they could be faked. Who knows?

Yeah it doesn't really matter. From the way some of those guys were camping it up for the cameras they probably do believe they can overturn the government and make an Islamic state without getting blood on their Skechers.

Bradford West Yorkshire England was the home of the 2001 Manningham Riots. Many non Muslim businesses were burned down. In Bradford Islam is Law. The local paper The Telegraph and Argus fully supports Islam, the police and council support Islam. No one else dares to say a word against it, otherwise they would be branded a racist thug. The thing is, Islam is not meant to be a 'bad' religion. Women were supposed to cover up to respect them as women not to put them down. If you read any part of the Koran you will see it is not agressive in any way. The truth is the religion has been bastardised by extremists to suit their needs, a bit like Christianity was by the IRA and the Provos in Northern Ireland. Think about it . No decent God would authorise killing or abuse neither would any number of his prophets. This is man's take on it. It is doubtful even Satan wuld want them in hell. The truth is they will probably wonder around as ghosts for hundreds of years. If you are an atheist then the whole thing will br seen as a cruel waste of time. Muslim males are the kings of West Yorkshire. Many spit at non Muslim women that pass in the street and call them whores. Many whites that rent homes are called 'white trash' by Muslims who deal drugs and drive round in flash cars. Unfortunately there is a racist political party called the BNP that is constantly veebally abusling the followers of Islam. This makes it very hard for those with genuine problems to voice them. Most people dare say nothing in case they are publically branded racist. Most people are not racist they just want to go about their business in peace. The trouble is many Muslim activists belive they are above the law. The police are so frightened of causing another riot that they do nothing
when non Muslims are abused by certain aggresive Musilms. The Telegraph and Argus feigns shock and calls racism at the tiniest slight to a Muslim while not reporting full events on frequent attacks on non Muslims. There is CCTV everywherr and yet spitting at women is completely overlooked. Saddam Hussain's cousin lives in nearby Leeds, maybr he spits on white trash non Muslim whores too, who knows..?

- - The view from the wishy-washy middle - -
****************************************************************************
Those placards certainly do look alarming, and without a bit of context I can understand, (but not really sympathise with) the knee-jerk "all muslims are bloodthirsty terrorists" vibe that the American right-wingers on JU seem to trot out time and time again...

There are a loose collection of ultra-islamist groups in the UK, and other countries, that really do espouse the opinions on view here, and believe in a coming 'Caliphate' in a new world order of global islamic supremacy. However, the story in Sodaiho's link includes the following: "I condemn them without reservation, these people are less representative of Muslims than the BNP [a small neo-nazi grouplet operating in the UK] are of the British people." Asghar Bukhari, chairman of the [UK] Muslim Public Affairs Committee.

This is important because another JU canard beloved of right-wingers here is that whole, 'if there are any truly moderate muslims, why don't they condemn the extremists?' angle. The fact of the matter is, it would take about 2-3 minutes googling to find hundreds of muslim condemnations of terrorism, extremism and political violence, ranging from religious fatwas, to considered political and philosophical viewpoints and just straightforward expressions of humanity and sanity. Go on - give it a go!

However, people see what they want to see and for the righties engaged in their Clash of Civilsations Crusade, such a nuanced view of competing points of view in the muslim world spoils their simple picture. In this respect the extremist grouplets involved (included Hisbut Tahir, Al-Muhajiroun and Jamaat-I-Islam) get exactly what they want: marching to the front of a demo with deliberately outrageous and offensive placards, trying to pass themselves off as the 'muslim mainstream', and those western rightie suckers fall for it every time and start frothing at the mouth at 'muslims' in general. Another tiny, unrepresentative grouplet gets another 15 minute dose of fame and also gets an inch closer to its main goal - stirring up more shit between the west and the muslims of the world in general.

Yes, there is such a thing as Islamofascism (or whatever else you want to call it - that particular term being ugly, clumsy and of limited accuracy), and a lot of 'liberal' [sic] opinion is dangerously mistaken in refusing to wake up to the danger that it poses. It is however the height of intellectual laziness to identify it simply with particular racial groups, or a religious affiliation.

And if everyone in that crowd holding up one of those signs blew themselves up on the tube tomorrow, would it console you to know that they were just a minority? How big a minority is too big, Chakgogka? There plenty of people in the UK just as brown who come from the same part of the world, and practice a different but equally alien religion who display NO such sense of hostility at all. Why aren't the Hindus anything like that?

The BNP is nowhere near neo-nazi, and British voters are turning out to support them more an more each year because they are becoming more representative of the views of its citizens. They represent those who vote for them, as is the nature of running for political office. The BNP is striving to remove people like those in the pictures from British soil. And again there is a difference between how the British and non-British think. The British have a right to exist, a right to their own land and to not see that land destroyed. If the Moslems have a problem with that, they should get the fuck out and go back where they came from--yes that includes those British born who think of themselves as Pakistanis or Bangladeshis first.

Hell, I'll even throw the Irish in there.

Condemning isn't enough. If they won't do their damndest to ensure that the violence doesn't happen, it's just empty rhetoric. I want these people infiltrating terrorist groups and informing on them. I want them supporting the imprisonment and expulsion of troublemakers. I want them to not just say it, but to feel the loyalty to the nation they live in. How about something concret for a change.
