FBI: Arkansas suspect researched locations in U.S. cities

OK is this an indicator of things to come? Is this type of thing going to increase? It’s sad that almost as our own president is trying to talk to the Muslim world, the Muslim world makes a very big statement.

Abdulhakim Muhammad, a 23 year old Muslim, opened fire in front of an Army Recruiting station in Little Rock, killing one soldier and wounding another. What he did not know is they were not recruiters, but soldiers that had just come home from basic training to talk to the locals about their experience.

Muhammad "stated that he was a practicing Muslim ... that he was mad at the U.S. military because of what they had done to Muslims in the past," homicide Det. Tommy Hudson said in a police report. Muhammad told police he fired several rounds at the soldiers, intending to kill them -- and would have killed more people if he had had the chance. He told authorities he was moved to kill after watching a video on subversive activities. (from http://www.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/06/03/arkansas.shooting/ )

What is even worse in this instances the fact that he researched other locations and places.

"Given that the charged subject in this case, Carlos Bledsoe, aka Abdulhakim Muhammad, conducted Internet searches related to different locations in several U.S. cities, the FBI and DHS provided an advisory message to our law enforcement partners on the situation," said Thomas Browne, special agent in charge of the FBI's Little Rock office, in a written statement.

The locations included Jewish organizations, a Baptist church, a child-care center and a post office, along with military recruiting centers, according to the advisory, a copy of which was obtained by CNN. The sites were in Atlanta, Georgia; Little Rock; Louisville, Kentucky; New York; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; and Memphis, Tennessee, the advisory said. The entities mentioned were being notified.

The mention of a child care center brings back visions of Beslan.

What additional care should you take if this type of occurrence happens again? What do you think of the President reaching out to Muslims, just a couple of days after a Muslim killed one and wounded another US Military Soldier?

Wow on 06/01/09 this attack happens, and it takes three days for the President to make a statement about it? But reacts and releases a statement about his court appointee within hours? Hmmm.

Notice the lack of media concern? The late-term abortion doctor kill (which I don't agree with) is drawing more condemnation than this shooting at least from the left. In order to get any media attention the violence must be committed against the party of "change". The silence is both appalling and telling of the "hope" we are in store for.
