This is my personal view and comments on the issues and events that I feel a need to talk about or express my view. You don't have to agree, but lets carry on a adult, discussion and maybe you will see it the right way, mine. ;)
Its time to step up or shut up!

That's it, I am sick of it, its such a crock of bulls&^t I can't take it anymore. Here is what I think of your so called outrage!!!

Where was the Muslim outrage when:

Muslims fly commercial airliners into buildings in New York City, killing 3000+ Americans (some of which were Muslims!) . No Muslim outrage.

Muslim officials block the exit where school girls are trying to escape a burning building because their faces were exposed. No Muslim outrage.

Muslims cut off the heads of three teenaged girls on their way to school in Indonesia, A Christian school. No Muslim outrage.

Muslims murder teachers trying to teach Muslim children in Iraq . No Muslim outrage.

Muslims murder over 80 tourists with car bombs outside cafes and hotels in Egypt . No Muslim outrage.

A Muslim attacks a missionary children's school in India . Kills six. No Muslim outrage.

Muslims slaughter hundreds of children and teachers in Beslan , Russia . Muslims shoot children in the back, blow them up, make them sit for days in their own feces and urine. No Muslim outrage.

Let's go way back. Muslims kidnap and kill athletes at the Munich Summer Olympics. No Muslim outrage.

Muslims fire rocket-propelled grenades into schools full of children in Israel . No Muslim outrage.

Muslims murder more than 50 commuters in attacks on London subways and busses. Over 700 are injured. No Muslim outrage.

Muslims massacre dozens of innocents at a Passover Seder. No Muslim outrage.

Muslims murder innocent vacationers in Bali . No Muslim outrage.

Muslim newspapers publish anti-Semitic cartoons. No Muslim outrage

Muslims are involved, on one side or the other, in almost every one of the 125+ shooting wars around the world. No Muslim outrage.

Muslims beat the charred bodies of Western civilians with their shoes, then hang them from a bridge. No Muslim outrage.

Newspapers in Denmark and Norway publish cartoons depicting Mohammed. Muslims are outraged.

Dead children. Dead tourists. Dead teachers. Dead doctors and nurses. Death, destruction and mayhem around the world at the hands of Muslims .. no Muslim outrage ... but publish a cartoon depicting Mohammed with a bomb in his turban and all hell breaks loose.

Come on, is this really about cartoons? They're rampaging and burning flags. They're looking for Europeans to kidnap. They're threatening innkeepers and generally raising holy Muslim hell not because of any outrage over a cartoon. They are burning embassies (which is an act of war by the way!)They're outraged because it is part of the Islamic jihadist culture to be outraged. You don't really need a reason. You just need an excuse. Wandering around, destroying property, murdering children, firing guns into the air and feigning outrage over the slightest perceived insult is to a jihadist what tailgating is to a Steeler's fan.

I know and understand that these bloodthirsty murderers do not represent the majority of the world's Muslims. When, though, do the majority, so called peace loving Muslims become outraged? When do they take to the streets to express their outrage at the radicals who are making their religion the object of worldwide hatred and ridicule? Islamic writer Salman Rushdie wrote of these silent Muslims in a New York Times article three years ago. "As their ancient, deeply civilized culture of love, art and philosophical reflection is hijacked by paranoiacs, racists, liars, male supremacists, tyrants, fanatics and violence junkies, why are they not screaming?"

Indeed. Why not? Could it be because they down deep support these radicals? Maybe they are scared of them? I don’t know but if they won’t stop them, I know a few people who will.

It happens reasonably often in Indonesia's poorer areas, particularly poor tourist-related areas. Apparently there was an incident involving fundies in my village, but no one ever went into specifics so I don't know what happened there. And when one of the Bali bombers was killed in an explosion in Batu there was a week of what could be called celebrations I suppose. Big signs were hung everywhere with pictures of the three terrorists with the dead guy crossed out and 'two more to go' written underneath. You could get fairy floss at the bombsite, and people were taking their kids to see it.

The way you tell it I take it as a local incident correct? Thats a lot different than Muslims rioting all over hte world in outrage and burning other countries embasies, correct??

I just dont give a damn anymore. They believe in paradise if they die for their faith, so I say lets help 'em out and send 'em on their way. Every stinking one of them.

I'm not globally omniscient; it was an anecdote from my own personal experience of responses to the death of a terror suspect. Perhaps there was a wider outrage, but considering he was a Malaysian citizen there wasn't really an embassy to burn. In any event good Muslims don't do that kind of thing, and if they did I wouldn't consider it a good thing. But sure, in effect it's different to Muslim riots 'all over the world', as you say. It may well have been an isolated incident that only a small percentage of the million residents of Batu and Malang and the Indonesian press indulged in. I don't know because I wasn't everywhere.

" Some 4,000 demonstrators took to the streets of the Pakistani capital Islamabad, marching from a mosque in the center of the city to the main Abpara commercial center under heavy police surveillance.

"Crush Denmark, crush America," the protesters chanted as they torched an effigy of US President George W. Bush." Link

If there is an urge among Muslims to bridge the gap and show that not all of them are filled with hate... well, they aren't saying it very loudly.

This is not an Islamic appology, just historical info to give a basis for the rationale of Muslims.

To understand Muslim reactions you have to understand Islam.

The religion was formed around a city-state and a dynamic leader who was inspired(?)to unite the Arab peoples. It is a religio-political institution that is repressive, communal, and fatalistic since its inception.
It evolved into an empirical theocracy led by the Caliphate who depended upon the ulama ( religious scholars or literally "those who know")to administer to social and legal issues.
Similar to various caste systems throughout the world Islamic society still breaks down to; the ruling class, administrative class, merchant class, and ruled class.

The administrative class (ulama) control all social services and are patronized by the ruling class in order to maintain control of the ruled class. In short the ruling class control the mullahs and imam financially, but those clergy control what the general public consumes both literally and figuratively.

Just as in Iran, revolution begins at the Mosque.
So why do the "moderate Muslims" fail to question or condemn the acts of radical fundamentalist? It goes back to the initial formation of the religion, Mohhamed is the final messenger of God, his words are the literal words of God, and those "who know" are unquestionably unmistaken in their understanding.

All that means is to question an Islamic "scholar" is to question Islam itself, which is heresy, blasphemy, and aposty....the worst things a muslim can be accused of.

Take into consideration that the majority of a muslim's education in the ruled class is rote recitation and memorization of the Koran, continually bombarded with the words of the prophet......

Call it indoctrination, brainwashing, or what have you, the ruled class are taught to believe that everything is the "Will of Allah", good, bad, or indifferent, and to question anyones actions is to question the will of Allah.......

Heh, and we all thought Jim Jones was good at creating mindless followers..............
