THE REVOLUTION BEGINS

The new non-volatile Quantum-Optical RAM increases
the speed of the system, since there is no need
to refresh information after every cycle of reading
of information, unlike regular RAM.

The new AtomChip® Quantum® II processor with
256MB on-board memory has a high speed with
very lowconsumption of electrical energy.

This notebook has a wireless function, high CPU
speed and large memory capacity with extremely
low power consumption. Absence of the hard disk
increases system stability under low temperatures,
vibration and acceleration

WOW!!! When it becomes affordable I WANT ONE!!!

and i also wouldn't trust whatever "independent" testing group they get to verify their claim. if they were totally legit they would allow several testing groups (not chosen by themselves) to check it out

They did show up at CES in January

Eh, *I* could show up at CES too if I wanted. All it takes is enough money to rent the space. This sort of reminds me of a laptop that I almost bought when I was looking around a couple years ago. The site claimed they had ultra slim line designs and all this fancy custom technology that they designed in house (granted it was much more believeable than this story) but it was similar none the less. The website was VERY professional looking and had believeable stats and user testimonies, it was very much like an Alienware for laptops. But there was just something that seemed too good to be true, something about a company that had ALL of this neat stuff that supposedly destroyed all other laptops, but something just didn't fit. After doing all kinds of research I found out it was basically a shill company run by some guy in Florida that would happily accept your 3 or 4 thousand dollars and then stop replying to you. They had all kinds of complaints with the BBB and there were people all over the net that had fallen for it. Since then I've been VERY careful when looking at things like this online.

If it sounds too good to be true then it often is.

I think if they were able to fit that much memory into such a small space, and it's in a working computer, there would be a whole lot more buzz about it. I find this whole thing very questionable.

Plus, look at that Bluetooth GPS thing they have. Those 'AtomChip' logos, and all the other words and pictures are obviously drawn in with MS Paint.

And what's going on with the 'Solar Memory?' It's sitting on foam balls you get at an arts and crafts store.

This entire thing is BS.

It's exactly this sort of thinking that made me scratch my head and really take a closer look. I mean these guys are claiming to have technology that would flip the ENTIRE computer indutry on its side. If this were really the case, it would be on every news channel and tech website all day long. It might even surpass the cartoon flap in coverage..
