Do you see the difference? The MNF-I press site list the good, the bad and ugly, while you will not see all those I am sure. You will only hear of the ones where someone dies or its negative about the troops. Yet there are many out there. That's only the last 3 days worth and today is not over yet.
Yesterday I was watching the NBC or CBS news (I know I should know better) and they showed a short video they said was of a "insurgent" blowing up a US Tank. I watched the video and thought "you now that was really a lame attempt at making something look negative." The video in question is located at
Now first off its not a tank. Its a Bradley fighting vehicle. Many may say so what's the difference? Not much, just that a Bradley is a troop carrier and as such is the give away as to the nature of the video. The video shows a terrorist blowing up an unoccupied Bradley fighting vehicle. But because of the nature of the presentation on the news, one would have thought that the "insurgents" blew up a tank full of solider's. Why show this video on national TV when there are lots of other videos out there that would really boost the publics morale? Like this one -
I checked with my sources in Baghdad, Iraq and they agree with my analysis. If this were a Bradley that was occupied, there would be a squad sized element assigned to it. And someone would be pulling security. SO if this is the best attack they have, blowing up an un-occupied vehicle, then we may actually win this thing.
