How about being able to DL a full length movie in less than 1 second? How about live streaming video and audio in HD with room to spare in your bandwidth? Thats what is coming.
IBM with the backing of DARPA have developed a optical networking chip that can transmit data at 160 Gb/sec!!
The possabilites are endless. Look for more on this soon in the news and on the net.
