Would you want good news reported on the War on Terror also?

Media Bias? What do you think?

Every single day we hear how the war is going badly. We are inundated with images and news of our soldiers being injured or killed, we here how many Iraq civilians are killed. Day after day, it’s no wonder that the American People as a majority (at least according to the polls) feel the war is not going well and we are not making any progress. It is only because I bother to look at a few different web sites I know about things that would make the average American stop and think, ”why didn’t I hear about that?” or “How come that’s not in the news?”. Here are a few things from just this week that should have made the news but because it’s not negative against the US or its military forces, it’s not talked about. Wonder how many in congress know these things??

On Tuesday of this last week (the 22nd) Coalition forces found and freed 12 Iraqis who were being held captive and tortured by Terrorist. This occurred northeast of Karmah. After five Iraqi hostages were found and freed May 21, intelligence reported that two buildings were being used for kidnappings and murders.  As Coalition Forces approached the first building, Terrorist engaged them with small arms fire. Five terrorists were killed by the ground forces and four were killed in an air strike.

Coalition Forces then secured the building and discovered 12 Iraqis held captive in a locked room, three of whom appeared to have been beaten.  The ground force evacuated the 12 individuals and provided treatment for their injuries.

The first building also contained a cache of weapons, In the second building, Coalition Forces found stolen goods and detained three suspected terrorists there for their alleged ties to the kidnapping network.

Iraqi Security Forces and Multi-National Division – Baghdad troops freed an Iraqi soldier being held by a militia’s kidnap cell May 20 in the Rashid District of Baghdad.

US Soldiers rescued Mosher Ahmmaed Abdualrahman, during a pre-dawn cordon and search operation.

“Two months of conducting combat operations with the Citadel Brigade (1-2nd Iraqi Army) have led us to develop exceptionally strong ties to our Iraqi partners,” said Lt. Col. Pat Frank, 28th Inf. Regt. commander. “Finding their soldier alive was the main effort mission for the Black Lions.”

The Iraqi Army soldier was abducted by a Jashya al-Mahdi kidnap cell May 17 in the Shurta neighborhood. Task Force Black Lion executed the operation, which rescued the soldier unharmed.

Below is a list of News releases just from Wednesday through Saturday. Look at what some of these are about. Where is the coverage?? The main stream media can no longer say it’s not biased. With these kinds of stories out there, there is no place to hide their agenda.

Not what you want to hear. I need you opinions for a article I am writing. What do you thnink about media bias??

What I don't comprehend is how colon gangrene and sean can keep spouting their crap that we're losing, when evidence to the contrary like this is in their face. Are they stupid, dumb, blind or just plain ignorant?

Media bias sucks, it always has and more than likely always will. And while I like Fox News...they're just as biased as the rest. Just the flip side of the coin.

No, if you only listen to the MSM, I can see how you would be so naive and uninformed.

The funny (not really funny but the only term I can use) thing is that many (some here also) accuse the military press of being just as biased. But what I find amazing is they post not only those above that I have cited, but every time a solider is killed or a unit attacked or an IED blows up and injures troops they post those as well. the good, the bad and the very ugly. Thats about as non-biased as I can find. Even more so than the right wing sites and media outlets.

BTW I have started a youtube channel that I post videos from the DOD DVIDS (Digital Video and Imagery Distribution System) web site that I think people might like to see. I have over 24,000 video views since March! http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=3rdID8487

Anybody with an IQ above Bush's should be able to figure out that the corporate media isn't telling us the truth about much of anything.

Of course, Rush, Hannity, the Wash. Times and National Review are lying to you also - except that it seems most people ENJOY being lied to, if what they are being told is what they want to hear.

So, pick your poison. The fake "left" media, i.e. WaPo, Kos, NYT, Air America, whatever tell the Democans what they want to hear while the fake "right" media, i.e. Rush, NRO, Fox News, etc. tell the Republicrats what they want to hear.

The bottom line truth is much more sinister than most people can handle, and frankly it's glaringly obvious to more and more people all the time - especially as Bush and the RINOs shovel their amnesty at us while Pelosi and the "anti-war" Democans keep moving the goalposts down the field everytime they are supposed to cut off funding and end the war as most Americans want to see happen.

But, as long as the sheeple continue to buy into the phony Republican vs. Democrat fraud system, we'll keep getting leaders who lie to us and are controlled by the military industrial complex, the Bilderbergs and various other elite groups.

Just don't say you weren't warned when the Americans start getting shipped to the FEMA camps and martial law is declared after the next false flag attack is carried out by the same criminals in our government who orchestrated and carried out 9/11.

"but every time a solider is killed or a unit attacked or an IED blows up and injures troops they post those as well."

Does the DOD mention how many/which of the dead are "green card soldiers" - or would it be too much for the reichwingers to handle, knowing that our military is using a totally disproportionate number of foreigners on the front lines as mercenaries who are desperately looking for US citizenship?

TBomb your here! Good to see you. This is the sillyest thing I have seen in a while. We needed a little comic relief.

Can you back up this wih numbers and documentation to prove this statement or is it just something you pulled out of your .......

"Can you back up this wih numbers and documentation to prove this statement or is it just something you pulled out of your ......."

Of course, and I obtained it the same way you could - if you were interested.

www.google.com: "green card soldiers"

Do what I did when somebody made a passing reference to it, and it sparked my curiosity. I took the responsibility on myself to find out more. And I did. I presented it above for you to consider.

But, if you don't want to find out if there really are FEMA camps, then don't. Don't want to know if the WTC towers could have collapsed at the speed they did from fire and gravity alone, then don't. Don't want to find out about green card soldiers and private merc forces being used in Iraq and elsewhere, don't.

Just, please don't make me cry by declaring me "the loser" of the debate for not spoonfeeding you what I already KNOW you can easily find on google in 2 minutes. Seriously, if I were claiming something so obscure or difficult to research, I would happily help you. But not this. Honestly. Type it in. Learn a truth that shatters your paradigm.

ok so some day the federal government may need to call martial law so they built facuilities to hold people who disagree or need help

as for the the wtc towers yes there were bombs used one for tower one and one for tower two

we call them 707 jet planes

so you want fires started by these two bombs to act like a fire started by some idiot (like yourself) who throw a lit cigeratte in the trash can

does that even sound possible to you

yea it probable does

www.google.com: "green card soldiers"

That tells us how many in the military are Green card, but not how many have been killed.  Or how many are in actual combat.  You made a statement that has yet to be backed up with any data, and that is what he is asking you about, and I am interested in seeing your answer as well.  Anyone who reads knows that there are many GC soldiers (predominantly Filipino BTW), but since the DOD (by your own admmission) is not breaking combat soldiers or casualities out by such classification, how can you say:

knowing that our military is using a totally disproportionate number of foreigners on the front lines as mercenaries

Again, when making a claim of fact, it is the burden of the person who states the fact to prove it.  NOt on the questioner.
