I need the help of the blogsphere, forums, and others who believe in fairness and decency. As many of you know, and some may not, I have a pro-military YouTube Channel where I post positive videos and videos of the demise of terrorist. No blood or guts, just videos of our military doing its job. There are 450 of them posted on my channel. This brings me to the reason for my request for help.

About a month ago I posted a video of a terrorist blowing himself up while using a mortar. It was not bloody or gory, just a quick explosion and that was all. The video is also posted on about 10 other YouTube channels. The video had been viewed more than 8000 times and had 20+ comments, mostly positive. Then yesterday I got a e-mail from YouTube saying they were removing the video because it violated their Code of Conduct somehow. I read over and over the CoC and could not find where it violated them but, the more I thought of this the more pissed off I got. I got mad because I saw other videos, those of US Soldiers being blown up, and of dead US Soldiers still on YouTube.

Why is it OK for these videos that clearly violate YouTube’s Code of Conduct to remain, and mine, no blood, body or gore, was removed? So I thought why can’t we (those that believe in our military) force YouTube to remove those video’s we find offensive? So I am writing to you, and asking a favor. I need you to click on the links below, you do not have to view the movie if you do not want to, you can pause it, and then just below the video is a link that says “flag as inappropriate” when the window pops up, choose “graphic violence” and click “flag this video”. I am hoping if enough people report these videos they will remove them. The terrorist and their supporters should not have a medium to use to put these disgusting video’s on. And if YouTube see’s fit to remove mine of the terrorist being blown up, then they sure should remove these if we have enough people report them. And if not, then I know YouTube can be shown as pro-terrorist and anti-American.

In every one of these a Soldier is killed. Should these be allowed to remain posted inviolation of YouTubes own CoC?? Help get these removed. Report them.

I did thebest I could in reporting them.. Along with marking them as innapropriate I also sent an email regarding each and every one.

I have a brother serving over there and I myself could be sent at any time to go serve over there and find that totally offensive. I believe in freedom of information but when you are showing the bodies of someone's dead child like that it's just going way to far.

Just an update, since I posted the original message this afternoon at 3, 3 of the videos have been removed by YouTube. Good work people!!

Global censoring is better than selective censoring? I would think that one censor was too much, and more is just piling on.

Shows how far America has let her principals slip, when it is ok to show an American troop getting his head blown off but not ok to show a terrorist getting the same done to him.

Another update, 4 are now removed, three more to go. Keep flagging them folks, its working..

Dr. Guy, I agree, any censorship is not probably right, but it is a private company website and they have a right set standards. But make sure the standards are equally applied to all.

I flagged the remaining ones as 'hate speech.'

And while I don't condone censorship, I do despise double standards. If this sort of thing is to be disallowed on YouTube, it needs to be disallowed across the board.
