Why you should vote for John Kerry for President!

Kerry Voted 98 Times For Tax Increases Totaling More Than $2.3 Trillion.
That’s just what I want me President to do!

Kerry Voted At Least 126 Times Against Tax Cuts Totaling More Than $5.3 Trillion.

I don’t want tax cuts! That would mean more money for ma and what would I do with that stuff anyway!

Kerry Voted Against 2001 And 2003 Bush Tax Cuts.
Of course he did and so would I! It would be silly to give money back to those who earned it.

Kerry Voted Twice For Largest Tax Increase In U.S. History.
Yes of course we need to increase taxes, I don’t pay enough now anyway.

Kerry Voted For Higher Taxes On Social Security Benefits At Least Eight Times.
Those old people on Social Security need to be taxed more. What do they think that they earned it?

Kerry Voted Against Marriage Penalty Relief At Least 22 Times
I am married and don’t think I should get a break just because I have a family to support.

Kerry Voted Against Expanding Child Tax Credit At Least 18 Times.
Kids don’t cost hardly anything. I have one I know. He is not a burden on the checkbook. So I think they should tax me for having a kid!

Kerry Voted For Higher Gas Taxes On The Middle Class 10 Times And He Once Supported A 50 Cent A Gallon Gas Tax Increase.
Of course, gas taxes are not high enough! Gas should be $3.00 a gallon!

Kerry Sponsored And Voted For Motion To Kill Marriage Penalty Relief For Couples Earning Less Than $50,000 Per Year. "Kerry, D-Mass., motion to table (kill) the Gramm, R-Texas, amendment … The Gramm amendment would allow couples with combined incomes under $50,000 a year to claim an additional $3,300 income tax deduction, thus eliminating the so-called marriage penalty for those in that income bracket." Sen. Gramm's marriage penalty relief would have saved taxpayers $46 billion over 10 years. The amendment also would have allowed self-employed individuals to deduct health insurance costs on their income taxes. (S. 1415, CQ Vote #154: Rejected 48-50: R 5-49; D 43-1, 6/10/98, Kerry Voted Yea)
Of course those of us that make less than a certain amount should be taxed more We don’t need that extra money. What do they think we need it for rent or food or something??

In 1995, Kerry Voted For A Resolution That Said Middle Class Tax Cuts Were Not Wise. The sense of the Senate amendment, killed on a motion by Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT), said, "reducing the deficit should be one of the nation's highest priorities, and that a middle-class tax cut would undermine and be inconsistent with the goal of achieving a balanced budget." (H.J. Res. 1, CQ Vote #67: Motion Agreed To 66-32: R 49-3; D 17-29, 2/14/95, Kerry Voted Nay)
• Sen. Russ Feingold (D-WI), Sponsor Of Resolution, Said Senators Need "Will" To Resist Middle Class Tax Cut. (Sen. Russ Feingold, Congressional Record, 2/14/95, p. S2617)
Kerry's Plans For Higher Taxes

Kerry Cited The 1993 Tax Hike On The Middle Class As His Tax Blueprint. KERRY: "Our plan will cut the deficit in half by four years – the same thing that we set out to do in 1993, and I was there and I voted for it, I know how we did it. And we're going to end the tax giveaways that are nothing more than corporate welfare." (Remarks By Sen. Kerry, Carson, CA, 8/12/04)

Bob Rubin Says Kerry Won't Reveal Proposals Until Elected. RICH MILLER: "Kerry has said he would roll back the tax cuts on the wealthy to pay for his spending programs. But if he wants to fix the deficit problem, won't he have to raise other taxes as well?" BOB RUBIN: "I don't think you can make proposals to try to dig out of this hole until you've gotten elected and until you've organized effectively across both parties and both houses. If you start to put out proposals now, they would be vigorously attacked, and they would in effect become tainted so they couldn't be used." (Rich Miller, "Robert Rubin: Embrace Kerry," Business Week Online, 8/2/04)

That's why I'm voting for John Kerry! As somebody who doesn't pay taxes, I think it is the nation's responsibility to place as much of a burden as it can on people wealthier than me. They are pernicious people who should be in prison for being selfish (i.e. successful).
