If this is not a hypocrite what is.

John Kerry, the man that wants to be your president, the man that is touting his Vietnam Medals is the same man that did not want his medals! Thats right he publicly renounced and stated he gave them back!!! This was all done in front of the Senate Committee. This is what he said:

KERRY: "I renounce the symbols which this country gives… …and that was the medals themselves…I gave back – I can’t remember – six, seven, eight, nine…”

And now he is using those same medals he gave back as his justification to be Commander in Chief??? Please tell me you all are not so blind as to not see the problem with this.

God help us if this man is elected as President.

he's not using his medals, he's using his war record. He says that he fought honorably in Vietnam (let's not make this another argument about the SBV's) even though he opposed it. He's saying the courage he showed during Vietnam reflects a good side of his character. He can still denounce the war and the medals he got for it by opposing it. Wouldn't he be a hyppocrite if, opposing the war (as did most Americans by the end of the war) he had kept his medals.

Seriously. If anything I respect the man more for using his brain and his heart in the 1970s and yet still being proud of his service. The guy is a hero and true American.

is it more noble to support a war yet not fight in it out of fear of injury or death or to oppose a war yet fight in it out of duty for country?
