Gotta love the sense of humor of our fighting men and women..

I got this photo forwarded to me through the grape vine. I have to say, it cracks me up. If you find it distastful, oh well get a life, its funny. Our fighting men and women actually have a sense of humor, and need one to stay sane over there away from home.

This is an old pic...and it's been tweaked a bit.  When it first made it's appearance last year, the sign didn't say anything like that...someone's been busy with the photoshop.

Dharma is right... that's actually a photoshop of a photosopped pic... the original was photoshopped to read : "He killed my brother and father" and was circulated as a legitimate picture by lefty websites... it even had a brief run on CNN before blogger debunked it!

I dont think the author meant this to be 'factual', and that is why he put it under Humor.  I am aware of the history of this photo, and thought this was a good use of it after the hack job that was done on the original.

That sign is changing every day!
By the way, the military investigated the matter quite a while ago. That was back in the days when the war crimes in Iraq weren't public knowledge.

If you look at the writing on the sign, it's clearly a computer-generated font. One that appears, at a casual glance, to be printed handwriting, but if you examine the 'h' characters, for example, they are all identical.

Still, not a bad create-a-caption entry.

I think the computer forgery angle was covered by in September.
