This is my personal view and comments on the issues and events that I feel a need to talk about or express my view. You don't have to agree, but lets carry on a adult, discussion and maybe you will see it the right way, mine. ;)
Now I know the difference...

OK Yesterday on my way home from work I had an eye opening epiphany. For the last few years I have been trying to understand why leftys think the way they do, and why they see things in a completly different light than those on the right. I have been listening to their outlooks and opinions on issues that interest or concern me. I have even tried talking to a few lefty's to see what they think on issues. Many times these talks resulted in me walking away even more befuddeled than when the conversation started.

I failed to see how any rational thinking person could see things in their light. How they could blame certain people for things that in the farthest stretch of the imagination have no way of being linked together but they try.

Then it happened, yesterday sitting in traffic at a light I looked at the cars around me as I normally do. My attention was drawn to the two cars in front of me, one in my lane and the one next to it. The Lexus in front of me had several bumpers stickers on it (a shame on a Lexus) one was a Kerry/Edwards sticker and the one right next to it said "Proud to be a Democrat". I thought that was interesting. Then I looked at the Chevy mini van in the lane next to it. It had two bumper stickers on it also, one was a Bush 04 sticker, thenwhen I read the one next to that is when I had my revelation, the one next to it said "Proud to be an American".

Now looking back and forth I looked at them for the 30 or so seconds we were at the traffic light. I realized that the difference in these two vehicles described to me the difference in the outlooks of these two groups. One group is more concerned with their group itself, the other seems to be interested in the entire population. Americans. I had to smile and feel much better about my understanding now. Then the light turned green and the Lexus driver blew his horn at the car in front of us because it did not move fast enough for his liking. I had to laugh, now I was sure.
