Things are going well for them...

TIKRIT, Iraq – Seven terrorists were killed in two failed attacks Dec. 24 in Salah Ad Din province.

Police in Samarra responded to an explosion and discovered the bodies of three unidentified men. The men were attempting to fire an 82-mm mortar at an unknown target when the round detonated prematurely. A fourth terrorist was taken to a local medical facility, but died from his injuries while attempting to escape.

A short time later, a patrol from the 3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team annihilated a would-be ambush near the city Ad Duluiyah. Terrorists attacked the patrol with small arms fire, but the Soldiers quickly identified and engaged them, killing three. No Soldiers were injured in the engagement.

You have to wonder why this death and destruction did not make the mainstream media? I mean if they are looking for death and bombings and stuff that people would like to read about, why not these? People blew up, people died and everything they want in the news is in this so why has it not been in the news?? Come on its good stuff, bombs, death and destruction and its not in the news?? I don't understand. Oh thats right, it does not include U.S. Soliders or regular Iraqi citizens dead, only terrorist. Hmmm makes me wonder, could the press be really bias? Naw it must be my imagination.

It's simple, when U.S. Troops die, the press celebrates. When the bacteria dies, that's a few less "Freedom Fighters" alive to kill Americans. Which to the press, is the real tragedy.

PT, I think if you look at this it is a shining example of exactly why I say there is a clearly defined and easy to point out slant. This is one of the best examples of how the press picks only those things that show bad things that happen to the US and its military and the Iraqi people now. Its so blantant now that you almost have to wonder what happened to the "un-bias" press and the reporting of "facts" not "slants". It just has gotten so bad now that when you point it out they have no answer. . I will be appearing on a local news talk radio show this friday from 3-6p and this is one of the issues I will b talking about (93.7 FM in the North Florida Area for thos in that area.)

Oh please. There's no bias in the media. Why, I just saw a story in the local paper saying how "badly things are going in Iraq". I'm sure it was just an editing oversight that left out the phrase "for the terrorists".

This is a perfect example of what they will talk, print or show, it had a bit about a dead US Solider so it was OK to talk about. Another shining example of the mainstream media being nothing more than cheerleaders for the terrorist and murders. They are accomplishing exactly what they want, to dishearten the American public, show only the negative on our military and try to make all americans and the world for that matter think nothing but death and bad things. Oh well soe things will never change. Even when you show them for what they really are. Sad very sad.
