War on Terror
Why is it we hear of every single IED or bomb or shooting that kills a US or Iraqi Military or police officer, yet when these scum kill themsleves, or are killed there is not one peep from the main stream media?? I think it would be a great evening news piece and boost the Nations morale to hear this report:
"Tonight on the Nightly news, from Samarra Iraq, today two terrorist were killed when they blew themselves up trying to plant a bomb aimed at killing or injuring our troops. Needless to say, no US or Iraqi Troops were injured in the explosion. In a seperate incident, two terrorist fired on US Troops who returned fire and killed one of the terrrorist and captured the other who ran after the US Troops returned fire. And in another unrelated incident, while on patrol US and Iraqi forces were fired on by a lone terrorist. The Patrol returned fire killing the terrorist and upon searching the building the terrorist was in, found material for making bombs aimed at killing US or Iraqi Troops. Also 5 seperate weapons caches were discovered by US and Iraqi forces. The caches consisted of the types of weapons and materials being used in the roadside bombs tha are the favored weapon of choice of the terrorist. Found were more than 100 artillery shells, 126 mortar rounds along with 20 rockets, also found were various other bomb making materials."
Now thats what I call news that people would like to hear. What do you think? Below are the news releases that the report comes from. Oh and by the slim to none chance any mainstream media type is reading this, feel free to use that report, with or without credit, I don't care. Bet your ratings would go up!
TIKRIT, Iraq –
Two terrorist bombers and two gunmen were killed
during a series of unrelated incidents throughout northern Iraq Jan. 9.
Two terrorists were killed in Samarra early in the evening Jan. 9 when an IED they were attempting to emplace detonated prematurely.
In a separate incident near Samarra , Soldiers killed one man and captured another during a brief engagement after the gunmen fired at their patrol.
Accurate return fire from the patrol killed one and forced the other to run away, but the Soldiers chased and quickly apprehended the man.
A lone gunman was also killed the morning of Jan. 9 after shooting at a joint Iraqi and U.S. patrol near Balad. The man began firing at the patrol as it approached the building he was in and the patrol returned fire, killing the gunman. The Soldiers searched the building and seized a variety of IED-making materials.
A joint mission by Iraqi and Coalition Soldiers in Mosul resulted in the detainment of a man who was attempting to follow the Soldiers as they moved through a residential neighborhood. The man was questioned by the Iraqi Soldiers and detained after he tested positive for explosives residue.
Task Force Band of Brothers Soldiers continue to have success tracking down and seizing weapons and explosives before they can be used by terrorists and anti-Iraqi forces throughout northern Iraq . Five caches were uncovered in the area Jan. 9.
The largest discovery of the day was made during a raid by local police and Soldiers from the 1st Brigade, 5th Iraqi Army Division along with U.S. troops from the 3rd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division near Muqdadiyah. More than 100 artillery and mortar rounds were discovered along with 20 rockets. An explosives ordnance disposal team will conduct a controlled detonation to dispose of the cache.
Soldiers from 3rd HBCT also discovered a cache of bomb-making materials near Logistics Support Area Anaconda, southeast of Balad. The Soldiers were investigating a suspected IED when they noticed detonating cord running to a nearby house. The home was searched resulting in the discovery.
Another large cache was discovered by Soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division's 1st Brigade Combat Team southwest of Kirkuk . The patrol discovered about 80 mortar rounds and several large artillery shells.
A separate 1st BCT patrol operating north of Kirkuk found a cache of 30 mortar rounds and two rocket-propelled grenade warheads. An EOD team destroyed the weapons at the site.
Acting on a tip, troops from the 3rd Brigade, 2nd Iraqi Army Division teamed with Soldiers from the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment and local police to raid a house near Tal Afar. The security forces found a variety of IED-making materials in a portion of the house that was extremely well hidden.
A tip also led Soldiers from the 172nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team to a cache in Mosul . The troopers found 16 mortar rounds and several detonating fuses hidden in a local cemetery. The rounds were taken to a nearby military base for disposal.

Doh! Oops!
One less IED to kill an American in a convoy. Yay for our side!
(note that your sarcasm alert is not registering... this was sincere.)

Because the people in the MSM are in mourning when their heroes die, but celebrate when ours do.
One less IED to kill an American in a convoy.
Herein lies the tragedy for the MSM and their bacteria buddies in Iraq.

There is no better enemy than one who kills himslef before we get to them. Saves us energy, lives, ammo, time, but most important of all, he does not go to his God since he didn't kill anyone else other than himself.
