Resolution Appealing To The United States Senate For Immediate Withdrawal From The United Nations Whereas, conceived during World War II, the dream of the United Nations was noble – universal peace. Yet in reality, the United Nations has failed. It has become the equivalent of what the League of Nations was – a debating club that does not stop aggression but rather rewards aggressor nations, as the League of Nations did with Japan, Germany, and Italy. Indeed, it was the Un...

Terror in the Skies -- Again? By Annie Jacobsen WomensWallStreet.com | July 16, 2004 On June 29, 2004, at 12:28 p.m., I flew on Northwest Airlines flight #327 from Detroit to Los Angeles with my husband and our young son. Also on our flight were 14 Middle Eastern men between the ages of approximately 20 and 50 years old. What I experienced during that flight has caused me to question whether the United States of America can realistically uphold the civil liberties of every individual...

Subject: Bush in church, Very interesting I'm at the 8:00am service at my church, St. John's Episcopal, at Lafayette Square, across from the White House. (I wanted to go early because I was going with Alice and Brent for breakfast at the Cracker Barrel in Manassas.) Much of the service was uneventful--nice, but uneventful--until it comes to the part of the service when the priest says, "Greet one another in the name of the Lord." I turn to my right to exchange the peace with my friend...

REPOSTED FROM: www.washingtondispatch.com You have to go there to see the picture Editorial by CK Rairden May 10, 2004 It started out as a fluke. Lynn Faulkner had been offered an extra ticket to a Bush campaign event by his neighbor Linda Prince. Mr. Faulkner decided to offer it to his 15-year old daughter Ashley who he expected would decline, as she would have to miss some school to attend. But his daughter surprised him. Ashley reminded her dad how four years ago they a...

The state of Arkansas unknowingly helped the al-Qaida terrorist network distribute propaganda promoting violence against the United States. Laura Mansfield, associate director of the Northeast Intelligence Network, first noticed the postings yesterday while monitoring a forum on an Arabic-language Internet bulletin board frequented by al- Qaida sympathizers. The Ansar forum received notoriety for releasing the video of the beheading of American citizen Nicholas Berg in Iraq. Fro...

It's been nearly a year since the first intelligence reports revealed Osama bin Laden's terrorist network al-Qaida had purchased an armada of ships for the purpose of bringing terror to the high seas. Now the international alarm over the possibilities of attacks on cruise ships, on military supply vessels, on oil tankers and even on critical seaports is reaching a fever pitch. In the latest development, South Korea put its shipping companies on alert after an Islamic militant group th...

I have had it with this piece of fecal matter. I have read to many web sites and quotes that say it was an innocent statement he made when he said that Iraq was going to be another Vietnam. And that we could not win. He obviously did not think before he spoke. The Iraq insurgents are empowered by talk that seems like anything that may show we are divided by the war. Anytime someone in any position of power says that we can not win, it makes it appear that what they are doing (the terroris...

There is a tendency these days that urges one on to hit President George Bush while he is down. But let me say this - Briefly put, the world is more at peace than when he came to power. Sound strange? The big powers have never been so relaxed with each other since the late part of the nineteenth century and early years of the twentieth and the number of small wars- ethnic disputes, tribal punch ups and territorial disputes- has been going down every year. Through all the vicissitudes of I...

Well lets see, the left leaning mass media of the US doesn't spend much time (if any) on the good things that our troops are doing in Iraq. Think we are only killing and torturing the Iraq people? Then you are ignorant and bias. Check out some of the other things going on you will not hear about: Back To School in Iraq 27,000 More School Kits needed In anticipation of the new school year, Chaplain Foskett wants 27,000 more school bags for Iraqi school children. Sewing Machines ...
